This video will be the first lesson to deal with a number of common writing mistakes. This lesson will focus on the problems of run-on sentences and comma splices. I chose to start with this lesson because this type of mistake usually affects students' grades in the area of punctuation in MOE, IELTS and EMSAT exams. Ways to fix the mistakes will be highlighted, and practice questions will be dealt with. Later, there will a number of other videos discussing other problematic areas.
