Having not seen her since RIAT 2012, and with 2015 being her last flying season, I was keen to capture Avro Vulcan no.XH558 in action at least once before she retires to her base at Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield, where she will be on display and occasionally perform fast taxi runs down the runway. Not being able to see her at Weston Air Festival last month, I decided to head to Yeovilton Air Day, to get that wonderfully characteristic howl. She certainly didn't disappoint!

We shall miss her once she's gone.

Filmed on a Panasonic HS900 with a Pro Sound L92AA microphone.
