If you have a small hobby workshop and are interested in woodworking hobby. You definitely need this tool. A sanding block is a block used to hold sandpaper. My sanding blocks, it is a block of wood (plywood) with smooth flat sides.
You should definitely watch this how-to video. In this video, I make two sanding blocks using some playwood, some sanding paper and one 75x533mm sanding belt. . One is smaller and the other is slightly larger hand sander.
You will like these sanding blocks with very stretched sandpaper. It is very cheap and very useful. After downloading the PDF plan, you can do it easily.
Sanding blocks are useful because they prevent "waves" created by plain sandpaper.
