CORSE ROAD TRIP IN A VAN | Our adventure

Hi! Welcome to my channel and to this video ;) glad you found it If you came here, you probably wanna know a bit more about Corse and about a potencial itinerary. Well first of all ☀️Corse is a French island and it’s just above Sardinia, another beautiful island in Italy. We only had one week so we organised an itinerary that included the most famous areas. Everyday, we had a city we had a city that was our destination and on our way there we would stop randomly where we felt like it deserved our time, whether it was a beach, a small village, a port… I believe that being flexible on this kind of trips is essential to not end up feeling burned out trying to see every possible place: the best spots are usually the ones that are not popular, so keep your eyes opened on the road and let yourself be surprised by what you see. Our itinerary hit for the general the city of 📍Basta, where the ship left us, followed by 📍Saint Florent, 📍Nonza, 📍Calvi, 📍Porto, 📍Capo Rossi (where we did an amazing hike), 📍Ajaccio, 📍Bonifacio, 📍Porto Vecchio and 📍Isola Rossa. We definitely liked the north best, as it was wilder and less touristic, but it’s undeniable the beauty of the south! If you’re planning on going with a 🚐 van as we did, we ❌don’t recommend you trying to do fee camping. First of all it is illegal and not well seen from the local population. We enjoyed camping in the camping sites: it’s really cheap (like maximum 30€ in total for one night, so 15€ each maximum, in high season) and it gives you the tranquility and the comfort you might not have in a van (bathrooms, showers, electricity…). And more, most of them are right in front of a beautiful beach! We always stayed on the main roads and avoided unknown and small ones, so we suggest you to do the same because most roads in Corce are small and with a lot of dangerous turns. If you’re planning a trip there, be ready for astonishing views, refreshing jumps in crystalline water and fresh nights stargazing. We had an amazing time there and we absolutely recommend.
