This guide shows you how to replace the Lightning connector (charging port) of your iPhone. The lower microphone comes off along with it. Before the repair, make sure the port isn't just clogged and that's why the connector won't plug in right.
It’s a difficult repair and you need about 60 to 90 minutes. We recommend using the following tools: a Pentalobe screwdriver, a Y-type screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, a plastic pic, a suction cup, a steel spatula, a pair of tweezers and a spudger. You’ll also need a heat gun because the display is really glued on.
