THE BEST MOUNTAIN BIKE STAGE RACE EVER?? - OUR 2023 SWISS EPIC EXPERIENCE

On August 12, 2023 we were lucky enough (with the support of USWE) to jump on a plane and head to Switzerland for the infamous Swiss Epic!!!

We took a flight from Orlando out to Philly and then direct to Zurich where we then were transported to Lenzerheide (UCI World Cup location) for the first stage!

Swiss Epic is a 5-day stage race through the Swiss Alps and is known for incredible views/trails and incredibly steep climbs. The route was to take us 339km in distance and 10850 Meters of climbing which is 2000 meters MORE than climbing Mount Everest!!!

From Lenzerheide we rode to St. Moritz and finally to Davos. All of these locations are known for their staggering beauty and world class MTB trails and they all lived up to our expectations and more. Every huge climb was followed by an unbelievable downhill with landscape that took your breath away!It was super hard but so rewarding at the same time.

All of the hotels that were part of the accommodations were super nice and comfortable …breakfast, lunch and dinner was included. The breakfast and dinners were incredible buffet spreads with something to satisfy everyone including vegetarian options for me!! Overall it was an extremely well organized event with wonderful volunteers and everything you could honestly need, we were so impressed and we are seriously considering going back next year 😂😂

We want to take a moment to thank USWE sports for allowing us this opportunity to go to Switzerland, all of their clothing and equipment was flawless for us and we were so happy to share our love for USWE!!
