You can quickly create a Venn diagram with the new "Repeat" function from CC. For beginners.

[Points]
To edit the radius while keeping the repeat angle fixed, it is easier to do so in the Properties panel.
To edit a repeat with Pathfinder or other tools after applying a repeat, you need to convert it to a path by selecting Object / Divide & Extend.
