This caldo has been in my family for generations and today I’m gonna show you step-by-step how to make it right in your own kitchen. It is amazing, delicious and warms you from the inside out.

Sure it’s traditional to eat when it is cold outside or when your feeling sick - but honestly we eat this all year round because it is one of our favorites.

I’m talking about CALDO DE POLLO!

Now different people use different veggies, different ingredients and different techniques, but I’m gonna show you my family recipe that was taught to me by my mom, which she learned from her mom too.

Here is a pro-tip: we like to use LEG QUARTERS because they have a little more fat, a little more flavor and are more forgiving if you happen to overcook it. You can use the white meat but you really need to be sure not to overcook it and dry it out.

Here are the ingredients for the Caldo de Pollo:

– Leg quarters
– Corn on the cob
– 1 Zucchini
– 2 Carrots
– 1 Celery Stalk
– 1 Onion
– 3 Small Papas
– 1 Jalapeño
– 1/4 Cabbage
– 3 Garlic Cloves
– 2 tsp Comino
– 1 tbsp APC OG
