My Big Bold Next Step. You won't believe where I take this painting

Hello Friends

In last week's art vlog, I painted over an old canvas after being inspired by my recent Gelli prints and collage paintings. I ended up with a lovely pastel patchwork of a painting, rather like a tapestry landscape. It was a great way to abstract the landscape.

This week I added yet another acrylic paint layer to the existing landscape painting with amazing results. Watch out for my happy dance as I paint and play in the studio and fall in love with the results I see coming to life in the abstracted landscape painting.

It was a big bold next step. I hope it inspires you to take big bold steps in your art practice so you too can do happy dances in your art space.
