⚡OnePlus Open seems to be one of the best foldable smartphones on the market rn, if not even the best. The similarities with the Oppo foldable are not coincidental :)
⚡ The Open features a great-looking, vivid, color-accurate 7.82" screen with LTPO tech, so it can control the refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz and in this case, it can save some battery.
⚡ Both the main and cover screens feature high brightness with 1400 typical and 2800 nits peak which makes them visible in direct sunlight without any problems at all
⚡ The multitasking part is "strong with this one" as you can use up to 3 applications at the same time, arranged in a horizontal scroll orientation which is easy and convenient to use. A stack of multitasking apps will also be put in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen for easy access to the certain apps you want to use.
⚡ The new camera system pushes the OnePlus Open forward quite a big time, as now it takes the leadership in terms of camera performance within the foldable phones segment. The new SONY T808 sensor does a very nice job in almost all kinds of lighting conditions, but suffers a bit during nighttime (photos got lost :(* )
⚡ OnePlus Open runs the well-known SD 8 Gen2. with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and extremely fast 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, so everything runs smoothly and without glitches and issues, at least for my usage.
