Further excavation of Lower Malfosse - 'Helmet ring'

Saturday, 4th August 2012 - Further excavations of the Lower Malfosse have revealed a number of interesting items, among which is another of those mystifying 'helmet rings'. This one is different from the others in that it has an inner ring and no rivets.
