Iran releases images of new missile defense system

Iran has released the first images of its domestically-produced missile defense system, Bavar 373. The system is designed to intercept long-range missiles, drones and combat aircraft. The project was launched as an alternative to Russia's S-300 system, the delivery of which was suspended in 2010 due to international sanctions imposed on Iran over its nuclear program.
