Try sb: فردی را محاکمه کردن to examine and judge a legal case, or someone who is thought to be guilty of a crime in a court Trial: محاکمه، دادرسی a legal process in which a judge and often a jury in a court of law examine information to decide whether someone is guilty of a crime The prosecution: پیگرد، تعقیب قانونی when a charge is made against someone for a crime, or when someone is judged for a crime in a court of law Prove sth: چیزی را ثابت کردن، چیزی را اثبات کردن give evidence to show that sth is true The defence: دفاع کردن the things that are said in a court of law to prove that someone is not guilty of a crime Innocent: بی گناه، بی تقصیر If you are innocent, you have done nothing wrong. Sentence sb: رأی دادن، محکوم کردن فردی، شخصی tell sb who is guilty what they will have to do, e.g. go to prison. Fine: جریمه، غرامت a sum of money you have to pay if you break a law.
