My dad walking - wernicke korsakoff syndrome

My dad was diagnosed with wenicke korsikoff syndrome a month ago. He started in a catatonic state and has now progressed to walking with much assistance. I was told that he likely will not progress much beyond what you see. He is being transitioned into long term care. Update: January 2017 - my father passed in long term care October 12, 2016.
