Running an Apple IIc computer on batteries

The Apple IIc was designed to be portable, and since it is powered by 12 to 15 volts DC, it can be run on batteries. A 12-volt sealed lead-acid "gel cell" battery works best, due to the high current draw. I also show the pinout of the IIc's power supply connector, and demonstrate an unusual BASIC program which generates musical tones on a nearby AM radio, rather than through the computer's own speaker.
