Hand-carved Curl with Chisel

Chip Ogg, a master furniture maker at the ShackletonThomas workshops in Bridgewater, Vermont, carves a curl detail by hand with a chisel. This curl will be part of the footboard of a Sleigh Bed. ShackletonThomas is known for its hand details and decorations. Chip has almost 30 years of woodworking experience, and has been with ShackletonThomas since 1996.
