The Syrian army making headways in Damscus countryside

Al-Moadamia---a base long used by the insurgents. To it east---buildings are next to the highway linking the capital Damascus with the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. This is one of the most dangerous roads to pass through because of sniper fire. The mountains around al-Moadamia are a main factor that contribute very much to the success of army operations.
