6DOF Motion Platform for X-plane 10

The Center for Human-Vehicle Integration and Performance at UC Davis requires a small-scale motion platform to accompany the flight simulator software, X-Plane 10. They aim to build a full-scale platform in the future so that they can simulate and study flight using X-Plane 10. The objective of this project is to create a small-scale motion platform and prove that it is possible to recreate the forces that a pilot feels in flight. Once this is confirmed, the full-scale platform will be built by the customer
