The reliability of democracy : یا هشام‏، ثمّ ذمّ اللَّه الكثرة فقال: «وَ إِنْ تُطِعْ أَكْثَرَ مَنْ فِی الْأَرْضِ یُضِلُّوكَ عَنْ سَبِیلِ اللَّهِ»O Hisham, Allah then has expressed dislike towards majority as criterion of truth, with the words: “Most of the people in the land will lead you away from God's guidance if you follow them; they only follow their own conjecture and preach falsehood + “No one believed in him, except a few. (11:40)
