One day build! Making a leather stamping maul

Building a leatherworking stamping maul! This was a little craft project trade for my friend Allegriana (https://www.facebook.com/Allegriana) I know absolutely nothing about leatherwork, but I hear mauls like this are a lot better to use for tooling and stamping than regular ol' mallets. This is a copy of a readily available design, but I'm a replica artist, so that makes sense. Materials were brass, gabon ebony and nylon. Also I suppose a few nuts and some threaded rod, too.
