In this video, I cover a few reasons why the front squat is better for your knees and lower back than back squats. Scientific studies that compared the front and back squat, found less force was placed on the knee and lower back with the front squat. To prevent overuse injuires from always doing the back squat, it would be a good idea in replace some of your back squats, like the lighter weight high rep work, with front squats, and keep the back squats for the heavy strength training or powerlifting sets.
