A military parade was held on St. Petersburg's Palace Square on Wednesday to commemorate the Siege of Leningrad. A total of 55 historic tanks including the T-34, T-38 and KV-1, as well as artillery pieces and captured Nazi German hardware were on display. Many of the items were found on battlefields of WWII and restored by specialists from the city’s Siege of Leningrad Museum. Special events will be held from August 9 to August 13.
