As a stripped-out, ‘roided-up track special, if the Ford Mustang is Rocky Balboa then the Shelby GT350R is Ivan Drago, a pure-bred apex predator designed for one thing and one thing only: absolute domination on the race circuit.
The most focused version of the Mustang ever made, the GT350R is powered by a 526bhp 5.2-litre flat-crank V8 engine, can pull a quarter mile in 11.9 seconds and generates more downforce than a Porsche 911 GT3.
