Team Building activity - Newspaper Bridges

Building newspaper bridges with ESOL students as part of their enrichment activities. The students worked together to build bridges from a limited amount of selotape and newspapers. First they had 10 minutes to discuss what they were going to do. Then they had to make the bridges in 10 minutes (extended to 15). Then we tested the bridges. The students really enjoyed the activity and learnt that working together and listening to each other is very important.
