Following a screening of FIRST MAN (2018) on the AFI campus, director Damien Chazelle talks to AFI Conservatory Fellows about the making of his epic Neil Armstrong biopic. Chazelle discusses filming parts of the movie from the point of view of Armstrong (played by Ryan Gosling) and why he shot the moon sequences with IMAX cameras.
