Analyzing the Death Stranding trailer, and Kojima as an auteur

There is nobody quite like Kojima. This is probably for the best, but I wish that a few more people would at least make the effort. I have no more idea of what the hell is going on in Death Stranding than anybody else does, but let's watch the trailer twice and pay attention to its imagery and see if we can't tease out some of the things Kojima has chosen to concern himself with. Like for instance why do all the monsters hAVE SO MANY HANDS???
