The intensity of low speed wind turbine testing

A wild and crazy day of testing an early version of the ART Turbine. If you look closely at the upper left , notice the anemometer slowly spinning. By comparing the tip speed of the anemometer and the turbine, you can see that even this early version of the turbine, in winds around 5km/hr, we were able to reach TSR 1.
