Note that the language in the chart introduces modal verbs that can be used for making deductions about truth, in which you communicate what degree of certainty you have about something that you doubt is totally true. Modal verbs don't have infinitive forms (to can) or participles (canning). Regarding the degree of possibility or certainty, might is slightly less certain than may, and could is slightly less certain than can.
