Star Wars: Episode IX Loses Director - IGN News

Lucasfilm announced today that Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow will no longer helm Star Wars Episode IX. In a statement released today, Lucasfilm said that they had “mutually chosen to part ways on Star Wars: Episode IX.” Lucasfilm went on to praise Trevorrow as a “wonderful collaborator throughout the development process” but admitted that their visions for the film differed.
