Electro Permanent Magnet for Steel Slab Handling

Magnet is being used to handle steel slabs of 10,000 x 2,050 greater than 30 mm weight up to 20,000 kg. The magnet used is electro permanent magnet. These magnets require electricity during switching ON (magnetization) and switching OFF (demagnetization). During transportation, when the load is moved from one location to another, no electrical power is required. This makes the system very stable and versatile. The lifted load will not drop even during power failure. The EPM lifters have a safety factor of 3
