Fun with Colorful gas | English

Today we will see a chemical reaction in which a colorful gas is released. We will need two chemicals – concentrated Nitric Acid in the beaker and a few small pieces of Zinc. We will add a few pieces of Zinc to the concentrated Nitric Acid and watch what happens. A vigorous reaction will start immediately and brown fumes or gases will emit forth.
