Finite Element Methods: Session--#43

In this session, the Methods of Weighted Residuals (MWRs) is implemented over the entire domain using the least square and Galerkin methods. Selection of the weighting function for one and two-parameter models is explained in some detail and the whole approach is compared and contrasted with finite element methods over a typical element. I did realize that when it comes to Initial Value Problem (IVP), the MWRs can be implemented over the entire domain even if the governing equation is an IVP. \e
