‘Indeed the envy consumes the Eman like the fire consumes firewood + Abu Abdellah A.S. said: ‘Luqman said to his son: ‘O my son! Everything can be recognized by its sign seen from it, and testifies to his words. And the signs of the envious are three. He will backbite in your absence, and avoid meeting you when he sees you, and gloat over your afflictions'.
