This family is a survival of Bakhtiari Nomads; an ancient tribe in West of Iran, living in the Zagros Mountains. They migrate twice a year to provide their flocks with fresh grass. We feel deeply concerned about the future of this lifestyle and we wish to help the Nomads as our partners to preserve their authentic culture. We received very positive feedback from both travelers and Nomad families which encouraged us to expand what we’re doing.
