Lets consider one more example, the student enrolment process at a university. The goal of this process is for a student to enrol in a university course. It starts when the pre-enrolment form is received by the university. So this is the start event, upon which an online access account is set up for the student by the university. Then the university makes an offer and the student has to accept the offer and the related terms and conditions, plan the enrolment by selecting the course and the majors or minors the student would like to enrol in, then the actual enrolment and finally the student has to register for the classes according to the available timetable upon which the process completes with an end event signalling that the student has enrolled.
