How do Nerite Snails breed

Basing on this clip, it seems that these snails breed much like apple snails. Watch closely as the male [?] pulls out something out of the female as it moves away. I am not sure if these snails are hermaphrodites either. I still think this is evidence that nerite snails mate like apple snails. They lay their eggs in freshwater/tropical tank, but they never seem to hatch as they only hatch in salt/sea/marine water. keywords; breeding nerite snails nerite snails mating
