Rahul Biswas: Supernova Cosmology with python

PyData Seattle 2015 Certain types of exploding stars, Supernovae Type Ia have been used to infer that cosmic expansion is accelerating. Large surveys like LSST will potentially find numerous such supernovae probing the physics and phenomenology underlying the acceleration. We discuss a flexible, modular suite of python scientific software for simulation and analysis of such survey data with different algorithms. .
