Tabatabayee Historical House

Built around 1835 by an international affluent carpet merchant, Jafar Tabatabayee, the 4730m2 house offers intricate plaster reliefs, fine stucco and excellent mirror and glass ornamental works. It consist of 3 sections: internal area (where family members lived); the external area (used for entertaining guests); and the servants quarters. They are set around 4 courtyards, the largest of which boasts a fountain pool.
