Hamburg creates space for container giants – Last pile removed

Deepening of the Vorhafen entry. The Vorhafen is the gate to the turnover areas in Steinwerder. Through the deepening the big ships gain more space to maneuver in Tollerort. Secondly the width restriction can be raised from 32,3 metres to 40 metres.
