Scale Invariance in the Ising Model

A 1024x512 Ising model lattice at the critical temperature is shown at four different zoom levels. The leftmost panel shows the full lattice, the second panel shows one quarter of the lattice, the third shows one sixteenth, and the rightmost panel shows one sixty-fourth of the lattice. After the initial burn-in steps the of the simulation, the similarity of the lattice at all scales is a feature of the scale invariance of the Ising model at the critical temperature.
