Shock Waves in Combustion Chambers

Shock waves have been reported in combustion chambers under low ambient temperature and density conditions. Although such conditions may not prevail in an actual combustion engine, since constant volume combustion chambers are often used for test-bed simulations, we sought to simulate these shock fronts.
