HEIDAR BABA

HEIDAR BABA is a poetical work written by Mohammad Hossein Shahriar, the famous Iranian poet. Published in 1954 in Tabriz. Heydar Baba is the name of a mountain overlooking the village of Shahriars hometown near Tabriz, Iran. In HEIDAR BABA, Shahriar narrates human capacity to embrace the beauty and to creating artistic civilizations yet ends with nostalgia of human destructive selfishness which abandons heartly built civilizations for individual possessions not knowing that humanity cannot survive individually .
