The 16th session on an Introduction to Geostatistics is fully devoted to multivariate Geostatistics invariably called estimation with multiple variables or cokriging. Here, one is exposed to N regionalized variables instead of one. The first random function or for that matter, the first regionalized variable is called the primary variable and the remaining regionalized variables are called secondary variables. The general problem statement is:  Given: Yi(sj) for all i=1, 2, …, N and j=1, 2, …, ni  Find: the primary variable, i.e., Y1(sj) at a point which is not sampled. In practical setting, the multivariate Geostatistics is limited to one primary and one secondary variables. After touching on such terms as autocovariance, cross-covariance, autovariogram, and cross-variogram, the session was pursued with the nature of data gathering and terms such as isotopic, partially isotopic and heterotopic data are introduced in some detail. The session was concluded with derivation of simple cokriging system thereby the means are known for both the primary and secondary variables, the means and variances for both the primary and secondary variables are constant and both observations and estimations share common support size.
