Nowadays, in addition to the use of nanobiomaterials in bioinks aiming at structuring scaffolds, they are used as nanocarriers for targeted delivery of bioactive. Dr Silva is a researcher at Embrapa Genetic Resources and Biotechnology, Leader of the Laboratory of Nanobiotechnology (LNANO), a professor at University of Brasilia and Federal University of Parana, and Founder of several initiatives related to Nanobiotechnology and Bioengineering acting as advisor of dozens of students.
