What Happens When You Put Popcorn Kernels in a Vacuum Chamber? Will They Pop?

In this video I put popcorn kernels in a vacuum chamber to see if the will pop. I have had many requests to do this video. Although I know what would happen I thought I would make a video to show everyone. Also, in case nothing neat happens I put bubble wrap in the vacuum chamber since it at least sounds like popcorn popping. Inside each kernel there is a small amount of moisture that, when heated expands and pops the kernel cooking the starch in the process. What people are wondering is if the kernel will
