Israel planning more settlement units near Ramallah

The Israeli military have decided to build 90 new housing units in the illegal Israeli settlement of Beit El in the East of Ramallah. This comes just before a visit by the American president Barack Obama who purpose of the visit is to discuss the freezing of settlements. The army made the decision to build more units following their evacuation of the outpost Albona a year and a half ago.
