So-called Syrian National Council concludes meeting in Istanbul

The so-called Syrian National Council has finally concluded its meeting in Istanbul. Syria’s main Western-backed opposition group was supposed to appoint new representatives and pick out a new leader but was not able to reach a consensus as many believe there is a power struggle between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which has put the group in a dead lock.
