How to Burn Windows 8 DVD-R or DVD+R on Ubuntu A simple tutorial to burn or create a Windows 8 DVD-R or DVD+R or DVD-RW/+RW on Ubuntu Instructions: 1) Obtain Windows 8 iso by means of torrenting or somewhere. 2) Insert blank DVD-R or DVD+R into computer. 3) Right click iso image and click on write to disc. 4) Select 3.0x writing speed and write to the disc. 5) Reboot with disc inside computer and select CD/DVD drive.
