Illustration of Massive MIMO

Massive MIMO has become a very hot topic and it may not be entirely clear to everyone what the benefits are of having massive number of antennas on a base station. With this video I try to (silently) visualize some key properties of massive MIMO and the origin of the large gains in spectral efficiency and energy efficiency. All in about two minutes. It does require some basic knowledge in wireless propagation/communication. The most important "take home" message of the video is that Massive MIMO
