A person’s lung capacity refers to how much air they can hold in their lungs. A person’s resting heart rate is the amount of times their heart beats per minute when they are not moving. When someone is under duress, they are constrained or forced to do something. In Blaine’s case, he is acting under duress even though it is a stunt that he planned himself. He has willingly created the environment of duress.
